Tough Week

As most of you know my father Billy Hollowell past away suddenly last week. God took dad to be with him in the middle of the night. I'm glad Dad didn't suffer a prolonged illness because I know that was his great fear. Thanks to everyone for all the support, cards, words of encouragement, and flowers it means a lot to me and my family. Everyone keeps asking how I'm doing. I'm good. I'm not just saying that. I know where Dad is, there is no doubt that Dad is in Heaven with his Savior Jesus Christ. His strength in his faith has given me strength in knowing I don't have to worry about him. My only regret is that my children will not get the opportunity to know him is this lifetime.

Thanks again,

God Bless you all,

Brian

Go to your room

Jake started sleeping upstairs in his room Saturday night. The first night was a little rough. He was up at 11, 1, 4 and 6. We still got up and went to church though so it wasn't that bad. Last night was better. He slept all night and didn't wake until almost 7:00 AM. Hopefully that will become a trend that will continue.

Both Amanda and Jake are doing well.

Amanda has started going to the nursery at church. This has been hard on Angie and Amanda both. I think it's more difficult for Angie, but their both doing better. She gone to the nursery 3 times now and the last time she actually started playing with the other kids until one bit her. It was not bad, no marks on her, just hurt her feelings more than anything. Amanda has taken her first step. Yep and I missed it. Amanda has been standing on her own for a while now. I look over sometimes and she's just standing in the middle of the den looking around. I'll say come here and she'll drop to the floor and crawl over. Yesterday Angie said come here and she took a step, stopped and sat down. She'll probably be running by next week. Currently Amanda's favorite food is Hotdogs and Mac & Cheese. She really likes feeding herself and doesn't make a huge mess, yet.

Everything else is going well. Angie has started back to work. She's currently working Friday's and Saturdays. We started looking for someone to help with the kids at the office so Angie can take them with her on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in February. Hopefully that will workout.

The dogs are good. They're actually back in the house now. We thought we were going to have to get rid of Angie's dog Baxter. He started pooping in the house right before Jake arrived. We thought he was rebelling against Jake's arrival. Last month we changed Baxter's diet and low in behold he started acting better and quit pooping on everything. After spending several nights in the garage to make sure he wouldn't poop, they're both back in the house. Winston is really happy about that.

Have a great Day.

Hook 'Em Horns

Young football fan

Jake likes football already. It's probably the colors and movement,
but he'll sit there and not fuss.
