July 4th weekend

We rode in the Cedar Park parade for July 4th and handed out kids sunglasses, well actually Brian and Nana did not ride, they walked and handed!  Kids had fun riding, although Jake indicated his arm got tired of waving!  We also went to Fort Worth to visit Aunt Pam and Uncle Ike and swim in their pool.  The kids really liked sewing with Pam in her quilting studio.  We visited the Fort Worth zoo on Sunday.  It was fun but hot - even the animals looked hot!  The kids got to hold a snake and feed some parrots.  Jake told me his favorite animal was the huge crocodile and Amanda liked the pink flamingos (of course) and the giraffes.

Jake took the following photos with my phone, not too bad!   Penny liked wearing Jake's fake glasses.  When he asked for them back she plainly said, "no Jake."
