Jakes and his baseball coaches

More baseball photos

The coach's wife is a photographer and got some great shots throughout the season as well as their group photos!

Memorial weekend

The kids got to spend the night with Aunt Lori and Uncle Greg on the lake this weekend. Went fishing but didn't get any bites.

Blue hair?!

Amanda has wanted to dye the ends of her hair blue for many months and finally got her wish! Jake was very patient waiting on her at the salon.

Happy birthday mommy!

3rd grade Living Museum

Helen Keller

The 3rd grade presented a Living Museum for the rest of the school.  The kids had to dress up and write a speech about a famous person from history.  They had green "buttons" to press to hear their speech as all the other students and parents filed through.  We found a Braille book for her to use.  They were allowed to use note cards but Amanda memorized her speech.  She wanted me to get some photos of a few of her friends as well. Got a video of her speech and of her cheer leading last week but will have to edit it down to post online.

Cheer performance

Amanda's cheer team does not have their first competition until the fall, but they did a little performance for the parents this week:

Field day!

Jake’s class made kites

More photos from the last game

The players got medals at the end of the season. Most of the boys on Jake's team had been playing since they were 4 starting on the T-ball team so he worked hard to be able to catch up to them this season. His coaches and teammates have all been really great helping him along and he really got to shine on the last game!

Last baseball game of the season.

Jake got 2 hits and made the game winning RBI in his last game. He's been working super hard on his batting, practicing every evening. I could not be more proud. His hard work paid off.
